Growing up in Brazil, cinnamon rolls weren't part of my food traditions. When I moved to the United States, I tried them at different bakeries, but I was never completely impressed. The dough often felt a little too firm for my taste, and I always imagined a cinnamon roll should be much softer, fluffier, and buttery.
For that reason, I was hesitant to make them myself. But eventually, curiosity won!
Finding the Perfect Texture
My first attempts weren't exactly what I had imagined, so I kept experimenting. I adjusted oven temperatures, proofing times, and ingredients until everything started coming together.
Choosing organic flour, organic whole milk, organic eggs, and premium Irish grass-fed butter made a wonderful difference. For the filling, I selected good-quality brown sugar and organic cinnamon, creating a rich, warm flavor that perfectly complements the soft dough.
And finally, I achieved the texture I had been looking for!
The Final Touch: A Classic Vanilla Glaze
There was one more challenge: the topping.
As a cottage food bakery, I have to follow specific guidelines, which means I can't offer the traditional cream cheese frosting.
But I didn't want to compromise on flavor.
After searching and experimenting, I found a classic glaze made with powdered sugar and a delicate touch of vanilla.
Simple, smooth, and perfectly sweet, it turned out to be exactly what my cinnamon rolls needed!

What started as a recipe I wasn't even sure I wanted to make became something I'm truly excited to share.
Our Classic Cinnamon Rolls are soft, buttery, filled with warm cinnamon and brown sugar, and finished with a delicate vanilla glaze.
Sometimes, the best discoveries happen when we give something a second chance.
I hope you love them as much as I do!
